Teater Nu is a performing– and visual arts company that creates stage productions and runs Boy konsthall. We are passionate about exploring new places, new forms, and newly written works, and work interdisciplinarily. Our theater productions combine philosophy with elements of popular culture and explore existential questions such as power, powerlessness, inclusion and exclusion, as well as the tension between what we can understand and what we cannot put into words.

Written and directed by Matilda Klamas and performed by Matilda Bördin, How / Hur? is an unconventional self-help performance, where absurd and sometimes humorous tasks explore the small efforts believed to bring control – and question what happens when nothing really goes as planned.

How do you make the best coffee in the morning? How do you actually get a good night’s sleep? How do you prevent cells from swelling? How do you dock a boat? Would you like a button to press for autopilot?

A performance about all the tasks we do to make life work – and the gap between them.

The world premiere of How / Hur will be performed inside an art installation by Emma Khanafer and is part of a curatorial collaboration between No Deadline, Finnekumla Dans & Konstscen och Boy Konsthall. The project is supported by Västra Götalandsregionen.
