Bianca Hisse is a Brazilian choreographer and visual artist based in Oslo. Blurring the boundaries between visual arts and dance, her practice investigates the way situations are choreographed by social and political contexts, employing performance as a space of resistance and refusal. Her works have been recently presented at Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo (2026), Governors Island Arts, New York City (2025), Aerowaves Spring Forward Festival (2023), Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Finland (2023), Kunsthalle Recklinghausen, Germany (2023), and BienalSUR – International Contemporary Art Biennial of South America (2021).

Cristian Duarte is a Brazilian choreographer based in São Paulo. Trained at Estúdio e Cia Nova Dança (São Paulo) and P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels), his practice approaches choreography as a space for experimentation and the creation of contexts. Since 2013, he has developed his work through /em companhia, at Casa do Povo, where “being in company” is understood as a collective, porous, and shifting condition. His work unfolds through long-term research and collaborations across dance, performance and other artistic fields. It has been presented internationally, including creations for Balé da Cidade de São Paulo and Cullberg.
Inventory of Goodbyes is a new performance by Bianca Hisse and Cristian Duarte, created for Rabbit/Duck Festival in Gothenburg. Taking Gothenburg’s harbor as a starting point, the performance explores how objects and bodies circulate, and how borders determine what and who is allowed to pass. Through actions of pulling, carrying, and gathering, the performance creates a changing landscape of materials, sounds and presences. The work asks how systems of circulation shape movement, and how a space can be transformed through collective action.
