Maria Naidu is a Malmö-based choreographer and dancer whose work moves between stage productions, public space and participatory formats. With movement as her primary tool, she creates richly textured works that explore belonging, memory, identity and collective experience, distinguished by theatrical detail and subtle humour. Her choreography has been presented in 14 countries across five continents.

"On and on and on on and on"
In a time marked by unrest, polarization and distance, we present a work that moves in the opposite direction: a reminder of the human need to gather and move together. The work begins with the ancient ritual of communal dance—a source of energy, celebration and collective strength.The Electric Slide becomes the shared practice. Some of Malmö’s finest dancers move in a continuous loop to house music. The pulse never breaks, the rhythm remains constant, and the space vibrates with life.The audience is invited to enter on their own terms: to sit, stand, lie down or dance along. Boundaries dissolve and a shared space emerges where differences can coexist.
