ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Gothenburg-based Slip of the Lip is an interdisciplinary duo consisting of Emelié Sterner and Tanja Andersson.
Since 2018, the duo has been working on a project basis with performance, dance, choreography and installation where interdisciplinary clashes with other artists make up a large part of the artistry.
On their resident stage Scen 46, Slip of the Lip facilitate recurring workshops in dance and performance as well as developing residency programs with a focus on cross-artistic practice.

Based on false death declarations of living people, Slip of the Lip searches for humanity in the bureaucratic system.
In a laborious choreographic performance, an encounter with a moment of death takes place. It’s just that the moment of death doesn’t actually happen. In the gate to the realm of the dead stand two living people wondering why they no longer exist.
A slightly absurd staging of human factors and system errors that may have the potential to shape other worlds beyond paper and bank ID.
